BlueTally lets you automatically sync Microsoft 365 license subscriptions and user assignments into BlueTally. Set up your integration in only a few steps:
1) Log in to Azure and search for "app registrations"
2) Click on "New registrations"
3) Give the app a name (like "BlueTally M365 Licenses"), select "Single tenant only" and click Register
4) Click on Manage, then on API permissions in the left menu bar
5) Click on "Add a permission" and then "Microsoft Graph"
6) Click on "Application permissions"
7) Search for "Organization.Read.All", tick the checkbox and click "Add permissions"
8) Do the same for "User.Read.All"
9) Do the same for "LicenseAssignment.Read.All"
10) Do the same for "Reports.Read.All"
11) Click on the dots all the way on the right side of the User.Read permission, then click on "Remove permission"
12) Click on "Grant admin consent for ...." and "Yes" in the confirmation
13) Click on "Certificates & secrets" in the left menu bar
14) Click on "New client secret", give it a name (like BlueTally Key), set the expiration to "730 days (24 months)" and click "Add"
15) Copy the "Value" and note it down for later
16) Click on Overview in the left menu bar
17) Copy the "Application (client) ID" and note it down for later
18) Click on "Endpoints" and then copy the "OAuth 2.0 token endpoint (v2)" and note it down for later
19) Login to your Microsoft 365 admin center (admin.cloud.microsoft) and click on Show all in the left navigation bar
20) Click on Settings, then on Org settings
21) Click on Search all settings
22) Search for Reports, click on the first entry, and make sure the "Conceal user, group and site names in all reports" option is unchecked
23) Open the Integrations page in your BlueTally account and paste in the values that you noted down earlier. Then test your connection to make sure it's valid and complete the configuration of the integration there.
That's it! The first sync will start as soon as you enable the integration.
